Add one more name to the list of celebrities attached to a makeup line: Ashley Judd is the new spokeswoman for American Beauty, an about-to-be-launched skin-care and cosmetics brand for Estee Lauder's BeautyBank division, the company has announced.

"Ashley Judd embodies all of the qualities that define our new brand, American Beauty, and we're thrilled to be working with her," William Lauder, CEO of the company that bears his family name, said in a corporate statement.

Lauder added that the actress, who's "glamorous, elegant, intelligent, while being warm and accessible," also " embodies all of the qualities that define our new brand. We're confident that women will connect with her."

Judd, 36, is married to Scottish motor racing star Dario Franchitti and costars with Kevin Kline in the new biopic about American music legend Cole Porter, De-Lovely, opening July 2.

The American Beauty line will debut at select Kohl's department stores across the country this October, with a complete rollout slated for fall 2005.

The news follows Beyonce's appearance in London earlier this week to launch True Star, her new fragrance from Tommy Hilfiger. The scent will hit U.S. stores in September, followed by additional products in December.

"There's not many women in the world who can say they have their own fragrance, and not many black woman, so this is wonderful," said the "Crazy in Love" singer, 22. "It's so classy and so timeless and so beautiful."
