There are several similarities between Puss-in-Boots, the character Antonio Banderas voices in the hit movie Shrek 2, and Zorro, whom he played in 1998's Mask of Zorro and will revisit for Zorro 2 (which begins filming later this month): both wear a black cape and black hat, carry a sword, and have a penchant for carving up trees with their initials. Of course, the obvious difference is that Puss-in-Boots is an animated cat – and that means Banderas didn't have to train to play him. Not so with Zorro: "I'm going to have to work out very heavily for Zorro, because otherwise people are going to start screaming in the movie theater, 'We like the cat more!' "

Getaway
Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias spent a sexy vacation in Las Vegas last week, staying in the Real World suite at the Palms. They drove into town and caught the No Doubt concert on June 27, then partied afterwards in the Palm's Ghostbar with Gwen Stefani and hotel owner George Maloof. The lovebirds spent the next couple of days relaxing by the pool with friends.

Hands Down
Who knew that sexy Shannon Elizabeth is also a card shark? When the American Pie actress jetted to Reykjavik, Iceland, recently to play golf during the Amstel Light Iceland Open, "she set up an impromptu poker game in the lobby of the trendy Nordica Hotel," a spy tells us. "She apparently cleaned out all these guys who played with her." She started the game at 2 a.m. and played until 6. "The fact that the sun never goes down (during the summer in Iceland) helped to fuel the late-night poker game because you lose track of time," our spy adds. "She's a very good card player. She left many a card shark lighter in the pocket after they underestimated her skills. She's a movie star. She's beautiful. She's young. People didn't think she would be that good."

Caught in the Act
Recently spotted:
Naomi Watts, at the L.A. premiere of Broadway: The Golden Age at Laemmle's Sunset Five theaters. The Aussie actress was there to check out the film because Fay Wray – whose role she's reprising in King Kong – is in the documentary, about the history of Broadway. Watts is set to begin filming King Kong in New Zealand with director Peter Jackson later this summer.

Dawson's Creek's Joshua Jackson, in the audience at London's Garrick Theater to see Julia Stiles and Aaron Eckhart in the David Mamet play Oleanna. Jackson, who was alone, signed several autographs for fans and took a picture with one before excusing himself and quickly leaving after the show.

Robin Williams, Charles Barkley and Penny Marshall, at a surprise party for San Francisco Giant Barry Bonds (he turns 40 on July 24) at Lucky Strikes bowling lanes in Hollywood.

Bruce Willis, at Manhattan hotspot Suede, on the same night as Joey Fatone, Seth Green and Nicole Richie. Willis rolled up in a beat-up 1980s-style black Lincoln stretch limo, causing one onlooker to comment, "That's the kind of car Bruce Willis rides in?" Our spies tell us that Willis was friendly to patrons and staff alike.
