What Makes Hilary Nervous?

Though she's a superstar actress and singer, Hilary Duff is like other teens in at least one way: Though "I don't get nervous walking the red carpet anymore," says the 16-year-old, "I just worry about what to wear." Duff, who stars in the upcoming A Cinderella Story, adds: "It's still a little weird getting out of a car and having all these people screaming for you. Sometimes I get down thinking I don't have a normal life. I don't have any privacy. But I love what I do and when I see (that) other people like it, too, it all comes out okay." Next up: She'll exercise both her singing and acting talents as an aspiring songwriter in Raise Your Voice with Rita Wilson and John Corbett.

Better Late ...
Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon missed her graduation ceremony from Hunter College High School in 1984 because she was performing in a Broadway show – but she made up for 20 years later by delivering this year's commencement speech, where she encouraged students to look beyond New York City. "Growing up in New York prepares you for everything except for meeting the rest of the world," Nixon told the students. "Get out of here. Go see other places. You can come back." Nixon is currently filming the romantic comedy Little Manhattan with The West Wing's Bradley Whitford in – where else? – New York City.
