Mira Sorvino & Christopher Backus: July 2, 2004

Three days later cases of the local Fiano Feudi di San Gregorio white wine had been chilled and, on the grounds of the rented Villa Parente, 11 tables set with lace tablecloths and antique silver cutlery. At 5:30 p.m., Sorvino, 36, and Backus, 23, led 100 guests – mostly family and friends – on a stroll up a hill on the estate to a small neoclassical temple where the couple once again exchanged "I dos." "Mira looked like a young girl in seventh heaven," says one witness. Backus, adds another, "looked like his heart was singing."
It was not a solo performance. While guests feasted on pasta in lobster sauce and a three-tier chocolate sponge cake (topped with Mira and Chris lookalike figures), Papa Sorvino sang a Neapolitan ballad. And bride and groom attempted the fast-paced tarantella dance. Says Colonnese: "They danced really well, considering they don't know the moves." They've got a lifetime to learn.
