Courtney Love, currently hospitalized in New York, has another new court date set for July 23, this time for the troubled rock star's drug-possession charges – one of five cases she currently has pending.

At that hearing, the judge will decide on a request by prosecutors to have Love's bail set at $40,000 after she failed to appear in a Los Angeles court on July 9, her 40th birthday, in another case, in which she is accused of assaulting a woman.

In this latest case, Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox said Love could remain free on her own recognizance until the bail hearing, reports the Associated Press.

Love's attorney, Michael Rosenstein, told reporters outside the courtroom Thursday that Love remains hospitalized in New York City but "will 100 percent be back voluntarily before the jurisdiction to face any and all charges against her."

He added: "She'll be back as soon as she's released from her care from her physician."

Love moved to a private medical facility this week after checking out of New York's Bellevue Hospital Center for treatment of what her lawyer called a gynecological condition. An ambulance was sent to Love's home last week after the city fire department received an emergency 911 call reporting a miscarriage – and Love told police separately that she had had an abortion on July 8.

Besides the drug-possession and the assault cases, Love faces another drug possession case in Beverly Hills, a reckless endangerment charge stemming from a New York nightclub incident, and a lawsuit alleging nonpayment to a previous law firm.
