Here's a tip for all you Usher fans: If you want to make an impression on him, flirting is fine, but to a point. We asked him recently during an appearance in London what his fans are doing to get his attention, especially now that he's single (in case you've been under a rock, he split from TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas in January): "I think they're a little more revealing," he told us, motioning toward his clothes. "They throw their hair a little bit more, they bat their eyes at me a bit more. That's all cute and fun." As for the strange items he's received from admirers: "Weirdest gift from a fan? I've gotten a few baby pictures." We don't even know what to do with that.

• Broadway star Joey Fatone, at the Sesame Place theme park in Pennsylvania with 10 family members, in the rain. The group saw "Elmo's World Live" and the new "Big Bird's Beach Party" musical show.

• Rapper-actress Eve, at uber-trendy New York boutique Jeffrey, trying on a gold necklace.

• MTV Rich Girls star Jaime Gleicher, at Miami's Sagamore Hotel, at a party for Monster's Ball producer Lee Daniels thrown by Martell cognac. Daniels, currently directing and producing Shadowboxer (starring Helen Mirren and Cuba Gooding Jr.), recently produced The Woodsman, starring Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Mos Def and Benjamin Bratt. "(The Woodsman) was a lot like Monster's Ball," Daniels told us. "We had two nickels and a cigarette. If you don't have money, you better have love. I put my soul into all three (films) and I'm tired."

• Also in Miami, hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and his brotherReverend Run (formerly of Run-D.M.C.), dining at the tony Shore Club. Former P. Diddy butler Farnsworth Bentley (real name: Derek Watkins), eating at a separate table, posed with them for pictures. "We were having a little gentleman's powwow after we all had dinner," Bentley told us.
