The queen of daytime TV herself, Oprah Winfrey, is due in court on Monday – but not for any crime.

Winfrey has been picked for jury duty, the Associated Press reports.

The talk-show host was selected with roughly 300 other prospective jurors, a spokeswoman for the Cook County sheriff's office says. Oprah won't receive any special treatment once she's there, according to spokeswoman Sally Daly, but she will be allowed to come and go through a separate entrance to avoid any commotion.

"Due to her popularity and her status, there is the potential" for security problems, Daly said.

Otherwise, Winfrey will be treated like any other prospective juror – including the $17.20 check she will receive from the court if she is not selected to sit on a case by the end of the day.

Winfrey's camp has not commented on the matter.
