The Apprentice 2 may not premiere on NBC until Sept. 9, but the cast is being introduced this week with a group photo in Entertainment Weekly magazine.
Amusingly, one of the contestants is named Ivana – which was the name of Donald Trump's first wife, with whom he had a messy divorce in 1990 after 13 years of marriage.
"As soon as Trump heard my name, this angry look came on his face," the "new" Ivana, a Boston venture capitalist, tells the magazine. (NBC is withholding the surnames and ages of the contestants.) "He was, like, 'You know, that woman took a lot of money from me.'"
There are nine men and nine women in the cast, though, unlike the first season, the teams may not be divided by sex.
As for the educational backgrounds of the players: four graduated from Harvard and three have degrees from the prestigious Wharton School of Finance. One contestant has degrees from both.
As for the looks of the group, the women are particularly eye-catching. One, Stacie, is a Ford model (she also owns a Subway shop in Harlem), while Jennifer M. and Sandy are beautiful blondes.
The New York Post reports that Pamela bears more than just a passing resemblance to one of Trump's closest advisers and Apprentice costar, Carolyn Kepcher.
