Never one to throw in the towel, Roseanne Barr is once again heading back to TV – this time for an appearance on CBS's Monday night hit Two and a Half Men, starring Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer.
The Emmy-winner, 50, will appear in a November sweeps episode as the sister of the household maid, played by Conchata Ferrell, TV Guide Online reports.
Barr's guest appearance will reunite her with "Men" creator and former Roseanne writer Chuck Lorre, who told the Web site: "I haven't worked with her since 1992, so it's exciting." As for his experience on her groundbreaking ABC sitcom, which left the air in 1997: "I learned a lot. It was tough, but I learned a lot."
Since the end of her sitcom, Barr has tried a talk show and a reality program, but both were canceled.
The news of her guest shot follows last week's announcement that the Sept. 20 season premiere of Men will feature special appearances by Sean Penn, Elvis Costello and Harry Dean Stanton, who will be playing themselves.
The episode, titled "Back Off, Mary Poppins," will have the Cryer character becoming upset when his brother, played by Sheen, does not include him in the group's bonding activities.
