Nicky Hilton may be old enough to get married in Las Vegas, but she still can't drink there – at least, not at the Palms. The heiress and designer, who doesn't turn 21 until Oct. 5, was turned down Saturday night when she tried to order a Grey Goose and Red Bull at the hotel's N9NE Steakhouse during dinner with her new husband, Todd Meister, 33. No hard feelings, though – the new bride was all smiles during Monday night's launch party for her new clothing line, Chick, at the Palms' Ghostbar.

Magic Kingdom
Las Vegas is certainly a magical place – last week especially, when there were two magic conventions in town – sort of. The 13th annual Magic Live conference brought 800 illusionists to the Orleans Hotel, including Penn and Teller and David Blaine, who found time between tricks to make a Kobe burger disappear from his plate at the N9NE Steakhouse. The other convention was MAGIC – that is, the Men's Apparel Guild in California. Anna Nicole Smith, Tara Reid and Bijou Phillips showed up for the fashion shows.

Not In Brief
"Boxers and Bustiers" was the theme for Saturday afternoon's poolside bash at the Hard Rock Hotel attended by both the embattled Courtney Love and adult film star Jenna Jameson. The night before, Jameson signed copies of her new book, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, at – you guessed it – the Virgin Megastore.

Happy Birthday
Illusionist Roy Horn will celebrate his 60th birthday on Oct. 3 with a party at his old stomping grounds, the Mirage Hotel and Casino. The celebration also marks the one-year anniversary of his near-fatal mauling by a tiger in the now-cancelled Siegfried & Roy show.
