Gwyneth Paltrow took a night off from parenting duties to attend the London premiere of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow on Sunday, looking glamorous in a Vivienne Westwood dress and Christian Leboutin shoes. Along with the adoration of the crowd, Paltrow received "a lovely bunch of flowers" from costar Jude Law in honor of her 32nd birthday the following day. Even though 4-month-old daughter Apple and hubby Chris Martin stayed at home, the actress quickly began talking about being a mom. In terms of bonding with her baby: "I spend as much time with her as possible, and sing to her," said Paltrow, adding that she never sings Martin's songs to her daughter: "Oh no. I'm not that cheesy." Next up for Paltrow: Proof, with Anthony Hopkins and Jake Gyllenhaal, due in December.

No Hard Feelings
Just because Josh Lucas and Salma Hayek ended their yearlong relationship, doesn't mean there's ill will. "She's one of the most wonderful human beings that inhabit this planet," says the Sweet Home Alabama star, 33, appearing next in Around the Bend with Michael Caine. She did ruin one thing for him, though: "Thanks to her I realized there is no good Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles."

What a Character
Ever wonder what Christopher Walken is really like? Us too, so we asked Jane Seymour, who plays his wife in the upcoming comedy The Wedding Crashers (due in the spring). Is he as eccentric as he seems? "Yes, and then some," Seymour, 53, tells us about her onscreen husband (who plays the U.S. Treasury Secretary). "But he's brilliant. He's just fascinating, brilliant and bizarre." The movie also stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as the titular "crashers."
