Get Lucky with Pamela Anderson
Can't get enough Pamela Anderson? Now you can spend as much time with her as you like, and maybe even get lucky. The former Baywatch babe is lending her likeness to a slot machine, which will pay off as much as $250,000. Ms. Anderson herself – who recently added "author" to her extensive resume with the August release of her debut novel, Star – will appear at a gaming industry event in Las Vegas on Wednesday to disrobe, or rather, unveil the machine. Incidentally, don't expect to run into the bombshell in the flesh while playing the sexy slot – Anderson's rep tells us that she doesn't gamble.
Jennifer Garner and pal David Schwimmer joined forces last weekend, with the Alias star stepping in to host a Beverly Hills brunch for the 30th anniversary of the Rape Treatment Center of Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. Schwimmer emceed the event, which also drew fellow TV stars Jim Belushi (According to Jim) and Jason Ritter (Joan of Arcadia). "It's a place that you can't enter or leave without it touching you," said Garner about the treatment center. Schwimmer concurred, adding that he has "never been more moved by an event or fund-raiser than this one." Belushi, an avid sports fan, noted his sacrifice to attend the brunch. "I should be watching the Bears game right now," he joked. "That's how important this event is to me."
It's Like Riding a Bike
Goofy isn't usually a word we would associate with Mark Wahlberg, but it turns out he was just that on the set of I Heart Huckabees. "He and Jason Schwartzman would vanish sometimes on these loony bike rides around the set, and we'd have to send some people out on bikes to catch them and bring them back," says writer-director David O. Russell.
The cast and crew of the Sci-Fi Channel/Tribune's Andromeda celebrated their 100th episode with not one but two parties: A small celebration Friday on the Vancouver set was followed by a bash Saturday for 300 cast and crew members at the city's Sugar and Sugar party spot. Speaking of a sweet time, stars Kevin Sorbo, Steve Bacic and Lexa Doig got into a cake fight before watching a blooper and memory reel.
