A fraternity rite turns ugly, then fatal, for Gordie Bailey and adds to a string of binge-drinking deaths on campus. Bailey's family has started a foundation in his memory. The mission of The Gordie Foundation is threefold: to educate the public about alcohol poisoning, to identify steps parents and students can take to prevent such tragedies and to eradicate fraternity hazing in any form.
