The fans have spoken, and the lineup for this year's People's Choice Awards has fallen into place.
The nominees for the 31st annual awards ceremony were revealed Tuesday, and many of the usual suspects led the charge – among them Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner. Fan-favorites will be chosen in film, television and music categories.
Potential recipients for the People's Choice Awards were compiled by the show's producers, Entertainment Weekly and fans, but the winners will be based on votes tabulated through the People's Choice Web site (www.pcavote.com), which is now open, reports the Associated Press.
In addition to favorite stars and singers, fans can vote for their favorite TV comedies and dramas, as well as favorite reality shows and late-night talk show hosts. The ceremony will be broadcast Jan. 9 on CBS.
