Lindsay Lohan was released from L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday, PEOPLE reports. She had been admitted on Oct. 21 with a 103-degree fever and bad headaches.
Doctors ran a series of tests on Lohan, who complained of exhaustion. "She was wiped out when she went into the hospital," said her publicist, Leslie Sloane.
The illness could not have come at a worse time for Lohan. The 18-year-old actress was in the middle of filming Disney's family comedy Herbie: Fully Loaded. And she was set to shoot a cameo role on That '70s Show with her boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama.
The hospital stay forced filmmakers on Herbie to shut down for three days. And producers of That '70s Show have replaced her with another actress – Lohan had been set to play a girl fought over by Ashton Kutcher's and Valderrama's characters – but they have promised her another guest role when she recovers.
Lohan is expected to return to work on Herbie on Nov. 1.
