Exactly how big a fan of your favorite star are you? So much so that you would want a stapler with their autograph on it? If you answered yes, today is your lucky day. Office supply giant Staples is launching an auction of – you guessed it – celebrity-signed staplers, with proceeds going to charities selected by the stars. Just who would participate in such a thing? Adrien Brody (who signed his from the New Zealand set of King Kong), Kate Bosworth and Naomi Watts (who both donated their proceeds to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS foundation), Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Meryl Streep, Cher, Samuel L. Jackson, Liv Tyler, Helen Hunt, Tiger Woods and Heather Graham, among others. The auction, live today and running through Dec. 6, is on Staples' Web site. Happy stapling ...

Since the holidays are approaching ever-so-rapidly, we asked Alfie's Jane Krakowski about her time on the set of the upcoming NBC special A Christmas Carol: The Musical, starring Kelsey Grammer and Jennifer Love Hewitt. "We flew for a lot of the time," says Krakowski, who plays the ghost of Christmas past. "We were up in the air above everyone else and above the cameras with huge wind machines blowing on us. (Grammer) was quite a good sport because we'd be stuck up there for quite a bit of time. We'd be waiting for them to reset up or reshoot and we'd be like, 'Can we please come down?' Kelsey's got a great sense of humor and would tell lots of jokes during filming, which would make it all easier. I had no idea how much fun he was going to be." Also in the special, airing Nov. 28, is Seinfeld alum Jason Alexander.
