Madonna spent Thanksgiving immersed in fashion and flashbulbs instead of turkey and stuffing, shooting a new ad campaign for Versace with famed celebrity photographer Mario Testino in London.

The Versace ads, which are slated to appear in February fashion magazines worldwide, have a "modern theme," according to a source involved with the photo shoot. A Versace rep declined to comment about the photo shoot and the ads.

After the Thursday shoot (held on Thanksgiving Day since the holiday is not celebrated in Britain), Madonna, 46, dined with Donatella Versace, 49, at London's posh Cipriani restaurant. "They had a Thanksgiving dinner together on Thursday night," says a pal. "They wanted to celebrate it together."

No word on where Madonna's British director husband Guy Ritchie, 36, or kids Lourdes, 8, and Rocco, 4, were for the holiday.
