Adding to the high-wattage star-gazing was Pitt's estranged wife, Jennifer Aniston, who shortly after the Pitt-Jolie pit stop received the female star of the year award from the industry group.

As they posed for shutterbugs, Pitt and Jolie, who play married paid assassins in the pic (which opens June 10), kept a safe distance from each other. Aniston and Pitt didn't cross in front of any photographer's lens.

Commenting on the lookout for a photo op of the couple (who split in January), Pitt's Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve costar Matt Damon tells USA Today: "It's got to be tough. Most actors can lead a quiet life if they decide to. I do. But Brad is one of those actors you get once every generation who is born to be a star. "

Adds Damon, who was at ShoWest to pick up a male star of the year award: "He's as nice and as regular a guy as there is, but attention follows him everywhere."
