Mel Spice's Rocky Marriage

After only eight months of marriage, "Scary" Spice Girl Mel B is separated by an ocean from her husband and child as news emerges that the couple has hit a rocky patch. The star is recording in Minneapolis, while her spouse, Jimmy Gulzar, is looking after their 3-month-old daughter Phoenix Chi in their $4 million Buckinghamshire, England, home. The couple had been living in separate wings of the home prior to Mel's trip to the U.S., says British press reports, but publicists for the Spice Girls say that the couple are trying to work out their marital difficulties.

  • In other Spice news, Victoria Adams (Posh Spice) has hired Vera Wang to design her wedding dress. Posh is marrying British soccer star David Beckham on July 4.
