The opening of a center in Louisville, Ky., honoring Muhammad Ali will be pushed back due to fund-raising delays, but businessman Larry Townsend told the Associated Press, "I am confident about our ability to raise the money." Townsend, who is working with Muhammad and Lonnie Ali to build the museum, declined to say how much has been raised so far. But he acknowledged that fund-raising delays will prevent the center (which is located in the former boxing champion's hometown) from opening by January 2001, as scheduled.
