- In Houston tonight, some 2,500 of the Bush family's friends and favorite entertainers will attend a "Milestones and Miracles" event in honor of the George and Barbara Bush Endowment for Innovative Cancer Research. The "milestones" mark the couple's birthdays -- Bush's 75th is Saturday, and his wife's 74th was Tuesday. The "miracles" would include a cure for cancer.
