Autumn Jackson was released from prison Thursday, a day after a court overturned her conviction for trying to extort $40 million from Bill Cosby by threatening to tell the tabloids she was his illegitimate daughter. Jackson, 24, was driven away from a minimum-security women's prison in Dublin, Calif., by her mother, Shawn Upshaw, who had an affair with the comedian in the 1970s and had accepted more than $100,000 in support from him. Jackson served 14 months of a 26-month sentence for extortion, conspiracy and crossing state lines to commit a crime. She made no public comments at the prison Thursday.
