Semi-retired Elizabeth Taylor, 67, is acting again, this time playing God's girlfriend Sarah in an upcoming new animated series for NBC, "God, the Devil and Bob." Variety's Army Archerd reports that the gig is La Liz's first cartoon voice since she did a "Simpsons" episode a few years ago. (She also played Pearl Slaghoople in the live-action big screen version of "The Flintstones.") James Garner plays the voice of God. Britisher Alan Cumming (Broadway's "Cabaret") is the Devil. Bob, a Detroit auto worker hand-picked by the Almighty to prove that mankind is still worth saving, is voiced by French Stewart.
