A Third 'Jurassic'

Universal and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment have signed "Jumanji" director Joe Johnston to direct "Jurassic 3," the third installment of the studio's prized film franchise based on the Michael Crichton novel "Jurassic Park." (There are also nifty Jurassic rides at Universal theme parks in both Hollywood and Orlando.) A storyline has been hatched by Spielberg, reports Variety. The studio is fast-tracking the film in hopes of an early 2000 production start.
