Donny Osmond, 43, can still pack 'em in -- the fans, that is, which was the case Thursday night at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, where the '70s heartthrob belted tunes from such current Broadway shows as Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida" and "Seussical," based on the works of Dr. Seuss. The performance, one of two that Osmond did this week, will be edited into one special that PBS will air in March (the CD to the show will hit stores Feb. 6), reports PEOPLE, which covered the concert. At one point, singer-actress Vanessa Williams joined Osmond in two duets. She also asked Donny to sing one of his old hits, suggesting "Never Can Say Goodbye," "ABC" and "Ben." Only, Osmond pointed out, those weren't his songs, but Michael Jackson's. But sing the smiling star did: the Osmond oldie "Puppy Love." Still, Donny cracked aloud to Williams and the mostly middle-aged crowd, "I wonder if anyone ever asks Michael Jackson to sing 'One Bad Apple.' "
