"Charlie's Angels" star Drew Barrymore has an angel of her own -- her adopted chow-yellow Lab mix Flossie, whose barking saved the lives of Barrymore, 26, and her live-in boyfriend, comic Tom Green, 29, when a fire ripped into the actresses' $3 million Beverly Hills home at 3 a.m. on Sunday. "Thank God for Flossie!" Barrymore told journalists as she surveyed the smoldering damage, reportedly estimated to be $700,000. The star's publicist said, "Flossie barked and literally banged on (Drew and Tom's) bedroom door. She was really the main alert." Barrymore then called 911, before she, Green, Flossie and two other dogs, Highla Flopsie and Templeton, safely escaped. There were no injuries, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation. About 70 firefighters from Los Angeles and Beverly Hills came to the scene, though too late to save the rustic, 3,500-sq.-ft. house. When TV news cameras showed up, Barrymore and Green, who is known for his outlandish humor, mugged and laughed for the film crews. "We're great," announced Barrymore, to which Green deadpanned before the couple sped away from the damaged home in a silver Porsche, "Other than the fact that house burned down."
