Country music legend Johnny Cash is back in the hospital battling pneumonia, the same illness that he said almost claimed his life in the fall of 1998, reports the Associated Press. Cash, 68, was admitted to Nashville's Baptist Hospital Sunday morning and was listed in serious but stable condition Sunday evening, spokeswoman Donna Mason said. The eight-time Grammy winner was treated for pneumonia during a two-week hospital stay in October 1999. In 1998, he was hospitalized twice for it and said later he nearly died that fall. Cash, known as "The Man in Black," was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1980 and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. He's also been nominated for two more Grammys this year.
