Stephen Pearcy, former lead singer for the heavy metal band Ratt, sued two band members, Robert Blotzer and Warren DeMartini, and their manager, Tim Heyne, in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, claiming breach of contract and dissemination of false information on the Internet, reports the Associated Press. He is seeking unspecified damages, says the AP. On issue, according to Percy's papers, is that his bandmates allegedly posted on the Internet that he had quit the group, which he is saying caused the cancellation of a proposed January 2000 tour. AP has received no comment from any of the defendants.
