With just one day to go before premiering her "All For You" world tour before a nearly sold-out crowd -- some 13,000 strong -- in Vancouver, British Columbia, Janet Jackson and her handlers decided to postpone Thursday night's show, citing a late arrival of stage equipment. The new date will be Monday, July 9. As a result, Jackson's tour will kick off this Saturday in Portland, Ore. A scheduled July 10 concert in Edmonton, Alberta, has been canceled altogether. "This production is so big, and there are so many pieces coming from different places," explained Shane Bourbonnais, vice president of SFX Music Canada, which is offering full refunds for both the postponed and the canceled gigs. "Unfortunately, all the pieces didn't arrive in time, and Janet Jackson wasn't prepared to put on a show that wasn't 100 percent. She's a real perfectionist." Jackson, 35, has said that the title of her album and tour is meant as a tribute to her fans. She is scheduled to perform nearly 60 dates in North America this summer before taking her "All For You" road trip through Europe in the fall and winter.
