Whither 'Left Eye' Lopes and Rison?

TLC Grammy winner Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, 30, and former Atlanta Falcons receiver Andre Rison, 34, did not get married on Thursday, as they had said they would, a publicist for her record label confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She was in L.A., shooting a new music video, instead. The two still care for one another, however, according to the rep, Matt Shelton of Arista. No new date has been announced. News of their impeding marriage, which Rison broke during a recent radio interview, came as a bit of a surprise to fans, given that after a 1994 fight with Rison the singer was charged with setting fire to the $1.3 million Alpharetta, Ga., home that they shared. Lopes pleaded guilty to arson charges, and later served the first of two stints in alcohol rehab. Last fall, there were reports that she and then-boyfriend Sean Newman were seen together in New Orleans, Chicago, Honduras and London (where they were reputedly shopping for wedding rings). Speaking of her relationship with Rison, who was her date at last year's Grammys ceremony, Lopes told the Journal-Constitution, "You know, me and Andre just have a bond that no one will understand. Sometimes, even I don't."
