Kimberly Mathers, 25, the estranged wife of rapper Eminem and the mother of their 5-year-old daughter, was arrested on Sunday in suburban Detroit for having an outstanding warrant, say authorities. She was taken into custody after area residents of Lake St. Clair apparently phoned police when they thought a jet ski accident involving Mathers and a friend, Jennifer Freeman, 22, had occurred. Once police found the two women, "Both of them appeared to have been drinking," said Macomb County (Mich.) Sheriff Mark A. Hackel. Upon questioning the women, police discovered that both had outstanding warrants. Mathers was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for disturbing the peace in Warren, Mich. Freeman had an outstanding warrant in another community for a probation violation. After taking Mathers to Macomb County Jail in a sheriff's car, a deputy then returned to the vehicle and found a "white powdery substance of suspected cocaine" in the backseat, according to a press release. Authorities are now awaiting results of a lab test. Mathers was released on Sunday after posting $3,000 bond.
