SEARCHING: Police continued to sweep Washington, D.C., on Monday for missing federal intern Chandra Levy, who was last seen 11 weeks ago. Before logging off her laptop computer for the last time on May 1, Levy used an Internet map site to check several travel sites, The Washington Post reported. "There were a couple of sites . . . that are local, and we will be going by there," D.C. Police Chief Charles Ramsey told NBC's "Today" Show Monday morning . . . FIGHTING: Guitarist Eddie Van Halen, 44, said fighting cancer over the past 18 months has opened his eyes to life. "The way I look at it is like this: I've run too many red lights and gotten away with it for a long time, but it kinda caught up with me. I believe that God doesn't lay this on you unless you're supposed to learn something," the guitarist and golfer told Maximum Golf magazine. "All that really matters to me is my son and my wife," Van Halen said, referring to his son, Wolfgang, and actress Valerie Bertinelli . . . COUNTERSUING: Tall, tan and lovely Helo Pinheiro, 54, who, as a teenager in 1962 inspired the bossa-nova song "The Girl from Ipanema," is fighting the estates of songwriters Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes (who wrote the pop hit). Survivors of the musicians seek to stop the Rio de Janeiro-based Pinheiro of using the very name "Girl from Ipanema," accusing her of "unduly using the works and images of the deceased" at her jewelry store. "This is ridiculous," Pinheiro said of their claim. "I was the muse. The name 'The Girl from Ipanema' only exists because I exist."
