Hopkins Hannibal Again? 'Don't Know'
As Hollywood reputedly speculates whether or not "The Silence of the Lambs" Oscar winner will again get out his knife and fork, he just stews.

The new DVD versions of "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal," released Tuesday, contain several hours of extra features that include an alternate ending to "Hannibal" and interviews with leading man Anthony Hopkins, his "Silence" co-star Jodie Foster and "Hannibal" director Ridley Scott. The release also brought reporters to the feet of the Oscar-winning Hopkins, 63, who made no bones about his acting jobs. "The part came along. It was successful. If it works, fine. If not, on to the next," he said, shrugging, according to Reuters. And while the rest of Hollywood is reputedly speculating over the chances of whether or not Hopkins will sign up for a possible third screen outing as Hannibal Lecter in "Red Dragon," Hopkins himself isn't quite sure. ("Dragon" is an adaptation of Thomas Harris's 1981 crime thriller that first introduced the cannibalistic character to readers.) The actor says, "I don't know, I've no idea. I don't give it any thought. If the script is there and it is presented to me . . . but it would have to be a really good script."
