Charlie Sheen: No More Single City
High-living Hollywood single Charlie Sheen, who also played a confirmed bachelor on ABC's "Spin City," went against type this weekend, marrying "Undercover Brother" actress Denise Richards. The couple wed in a Catholic ceremony at the Los Angeles home of "Spin City" producer Gary David Goldberg, Sheen's publicist, Tracy Shaffer, told the Associated Press. It is a first marriage for Richards and a second for Sheen, 36, whose 1995 marriage to model Donna Peele lasted just over a year. He was also engaged to actress Kelly Preston -- the current Mrs. John Travolta -- but the two never married, and has a daughter (Cassandra Sheen, born in 1984) with high-school girlfriend Paula Profitt. Sheen and Richards, 31, met on the set of the independent film "Good Advice" in 2000 and became an item after Richards made a guest appearance on "Spin City" last year. (The ABC sitcom about the party-loving aide to New York's mayor ended its six-year run this past season.) AP reports that Giorgio Armani dressed the couple for their wedding, which was attended by family members including Sheen's father, "West Wing" star Martin Sheen, 61. The bride was reportedly dressed in a white satin gown with a plunging back, while the groom wore a two-button tuxedo.
