Destiny's Child lead singer Beyoncé Knowles finally has a date.
On July 8, Columbia Records will release her long-awaited debut album, "Dangerously in Love," reports Billboard.
However, she will not go it entirely alone. Also announced to make guest appearances on the CD will be, among others, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Sean Paul, Outkast's Big Boi, and Luther Vandross – who at the moment is reportedly battling for his life after having suffered a stroke several weeks ago.
Vandross, 52, will duet with Knowles, 21, on the cut, "Closer I Get to You." The same song is scheduled to appear on Vandross's upcoming album "Dance with My Father,"' which J Records plans to release on June 10.
The other contributors to Knowles's CD include Mark Batson, Mario Winans, D-Roy & Mr. B, Rich Harrison, Fanatic and Scott Storch.
On May 17, Knowles will debut her single with Jay-Z, "Crazy in Love," when she guest stars on "Saturday Night Live," Billboard reports. She'll also make the TV rounds with David Letterman, the "Today" show and "The View."
And, if that's not enough, Knowles also will star in a June 14 pay-per-view TV special, "Ford Presents Beyonce Knowles, Friends & Family, Live From Ford's 100th Anniversary Celebration in Dearborn, Michigan," though she won't be going that one alone.
She's set to be joined by Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, her sister Solange Knowles and others.
