Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss descended upon Los Angeles's brand-new Walt Disney Concert Hall Monday night for their new movie, "The Matrix Revolutions," the third installment of the "Matrix" trilogy.

Sharon Stone and Robert Downey Jr. also attended, according to reports, as did Reeves's costar Jada Pinkett Smith, who showed up with actor husband Will Smith.

Given that the last installment, "The Matrix Reloaded," managed to eek out an international gross of $735 million (despite a mixed critical reception), hopes are high for this "Matrix," which opens to the public Nov. 5.

As quoted by BBC News, Keanu Reeves told reporters outside the Disney Hall that he had no idea the trilogy would be such a success.

"I really didn't have any expectations. I just had hope, " said Reeves, 39. "You know, I mean I felt I was performing in something I enjoyed and I hoped other people would as well."

Delivering his own review before the real critics chime in, Reeves added: "The film is fantastic. It's got an epic scope to it, but also real heart to it. It's a very open film ... a big action picture, drama, romance."

This new film finishes up the epic war between man and machine, which includes the final confrontation between Reeves's character of Neo and the rogue Agent Smith.
