Rowling Previews 'Harry' Six and Seven

J.K. Rowling just pulled off some wizardry of her own.

On Thursday, the "Harry Potter" author faced some 16,000 questions from avid readers with encyclopedic knowledge of her boy-wizard sagas in a live Web chat based in London, Reuters reports. She also was quizzed about her currently-in-progress Book Six.

Asked whether the wicked Voldemort would die, Rowling, 38, replied in the World Book Day Web chat: "Now do you really think I would answer that?"

She spoke more freely when queried on the magical powers she would like to possess. "I would like to fly," she said. "And sometimes turn off other people's voices." That last remark seemed aimed at the ballyhoo that greets the launch of Harry's latest adventures.

She also said: "I think I'd most like to spend a day with Harry. I'd take him out for a meal and apologize for everything I put him through."

Then came a warning: "In Book Six, the wizarding world is really at war again, and he has to master his own feelings to make himself useful. If personally I was Harry Potter, I would hide because I know what is coming."

She also said that once Book Seven is completed, she plans to go back and revise all the predecessors. Just don't expect any prequels. "You won't need them," she said. " By the time I've finished, you'll have all the back story you need."
