Comic Jay Mohr, Actress Nikki Cox Engaged

Comedian Jay Mohr and actress Nikki Cox are engaged and plan to marry next winter, her publicist, Alisha Mahon, has announced.

Cox, 27, plays Mary Connell on NBC's Las Vegas. She and Mohr, 35, the former host of NBC's Last Comic Standing and star of the cult FOX sitcom Action!, met when Mohr guest-starred on the Sin City drama, Mahon said.

Mohr was also a member of Saturday Night Live from 1993-1995, and could be seen in a Diet Pepsi commercial during Sunday night's Super Bowl, costarring with P. Diddy.

Cox was previously engaged to comedian Bob Goldthwait. Mohr was married to model-turned actress Nicole Chamberlain from 1998-2004. They had one child together before divorcing.
