When describing Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire said it best: "He is witty, tall and has beautiful eyes. He can do all the macho things – hunt, fish, drive a truck – but with a woman, he's a sweetheart."

It's no wonder the charming Oklahoma native, who got his start in Nashville at 17 with the help of country vets Mae Axton and Bobby Braddock, hit it big with 2001's "Austin" – and he hasn't slowed down since. In 2010 alone he released three hit albums and won the coveted top male vocalist CMA Award, before marrying fellow country star Miranda Lambert in May 2011.

With his personal life fulfilled, Shelton, who co-hosted the 2011 ACM Awards with McEntire and won another male vocalist CMA, stepped up his profile as a judge on NBC's hit singing competition, The Voice.
