There's nothing like a favorite movie to take your little one's focus off of poking his or her sister or kicking the seat in front of him or her.
We Like: The Audiovox Kids Personal DVD Player ($95) is the highest quality, most affordable, kid-friendly portable DVD player we've used. The control buttons are located on the top so there's little temptation to accidentally skip tracks. Caveat: There's no remote.
We Also Like: Downloading kids' movies from iTunes to your iPod. If you're computer-savvy, you can rip your own DVDs to your computer and then copy to your iPod using HandBrake (free). Make sure to bring headphones because ear buds don't usually fit in little ears and iPods don't have speakers.
