Wood Defends Manson Breakup
After splitting from Manson, Wood defends her ex when reports claim Manson kicked her brother Ira– who was living with the couple–out of her guest house. Explaining that the break was mutual, Wood says in a statement to PEOPLE, "I love him as a person and as an artist. I will always be proud to have been a part of that."
The Wrestler
Wood stars as Mickey Rourke's estranged daughter in his comeback vehicle, The Wrestler. The film, directed by Darren Aronofsky, centers on a retired professional wrestler and earns Rourke a lead actor Golden Globe award. "[The film] is about doing whatever it takes you to follow your dreams," Wood tells Fox News. "You make your mark and you become a legend, and that’s what Mickey did in real life."

Wood, 21, steps out with actor Shane West in celebration of his 31st birthday at Bardot Hollywood. Arriving together, the birthday boy doted on Wood–even kissing her on the cheek. "I think you can put two and two together," Wood told Hollyscoop when asked about her relationship with West. "I won't confirm or deny it but I don't think I have to."
