Her O.C. alter-ego, Marissa Cooper, may be mortified by her social-climbing mother, but Mischa Barton thinks real-life mom Nuala is the hippest. "I go to my mom for approval on everything style-related," the actress has said. The elder Barton also provides her middle daughter with near-constant companionship, even moving to Italy for the summer while Mischa, 19, shoots her latest film, The Decameron.
