The couple, who started dating in April, showed up to Cruise's June 17 War of the Worlds press conference in Paris with a sparkly new addition: a diamond on Holmes's finger. "Today is a magnificent day for me, I'm engaged to a magnificent woman," Cruise told reporters as he described his early-morning proposal at the Eiffel Tower.
