7. KATIE'S BONDING WITH BROOKE
At an Oct. 29 charity event, Brooke Shields and Holmes acted like longtime friends, despite Shields's onetime public disagreement with Cruise. "You never know how life is going to bring people together," Shields told Access Hollywood. In fact, Shields said she and Holmes are "absolutely" friends. They even have a cosmic connection: Both gave birth in the same L.A. hospital on the same day, April 18.
