A month after jumping on Oprah Winfrey's couch to declare his love for Holmes "beyond cool," Cruise unleashed his excitement on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on June 8, saying he looked forward to "spending the rest of my life" with her. Cruise's sister Lee Anne DeVette said that after his Oprah appearance, "my mother and I were in tears because it's so beautiful to see him this happy."
