Tom Cruise starts his marathon afternoon around 3 p.m. – traveling by land, sea and air Wednesday to premiere Mission: Impossible III in New York City – by hitching a ride on a fire truck outside MTV's TRL studio amid hundreds of fans. "These are my buddies," Cruise told the crowd before heading to the East River. "These are my heroes."
