8. HER BIRTHDAY ON ICE

Cruise pulled out all the stops, surprising Holmes on her 27th birthday (on Dec. 18) with an after-hours party at New York City's FAO Schwarz with cupcakes and toys galore. Later, the two hit the ice rink in Central Park for a private couples skate, where they were also joined by Cruise's mom, Mary Lee, and daughter Isabella. Wonder how he'll top that this year?
