3. HIS PARISIAN PROPOSAL
Cruise and Holmes took their romance to the next level with an Eiffel Tower engagement on June 17, 2005. First, Cruise arranged a private visit followed by dinner at the monument's famous Jules Verne restaurant, where in a candlelit proposal he presented Holmes with an oval-shaped diamond. "Today is my favorite day in my entire life," Cruise said at the time. "I'll never forget this day. Ever."
