Known for his beat-boxing skills, Lewis wowed the judges with a beat-box-free and pitch-perfect rendition of Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" during Idol's first performance show. Lewis has performed in Kickshaw, a Seattle-based a cappella group, and traveled to Europe with his youth choir.
