Transforming into his alter ego "the Grand Dutchess," Hasselhoff says that when he puts on the red wig, "it looks like Dennis Rodman on acid." But getting the call to play this flamboyant character has been just another side trip on his Hollywood ride: "I never thought I'd be talking to a car or in syndication history with a crazy show like Baywatch."
